Smaller, lighter with built-in Wi-Fi The HERO3: White Edition boasts the same high performance specs as the Original HD HERO camera it replaces, yet it has built-in Wi-Fi, new UI and is 30% smaller and 25% lighter. The HERO3: White Edition is wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to 197' (60m), and is capable of capturing 1080p 30 fps and 720p 60 fps video plus 5MP photos at a rate of 3 photos per second. Professional Video and Photo The HERO3: White Edition shoots professional quality video at 1080p-30, 720p-60, 960p-30 and WVGA-60. Photo resolution is 5 MP and shoots 3 frames per second in burst mode. Time lapse mode enables photo capture at .5, 2, 5, 10, 30 and 60 second intervals. All this is captures on the reduced-distortion lens and the redesigned, integrated, flat-lens housing. Audio Performance The HERO3 has a completely redesigned the audio system to greatly improve performance at capturing subtle sounds such as voice or music, as well as the sounds of sport.
