The front panel is a tough EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) that protects the contents from bumps and abrasions. The pouch comes with a strong D-ring and lanyard that can be worn on your wrist belt or attached to your larger shoulder bag. A rear slash mesh pocket is provided for cables or earbuds. The pocket is even large enough to hold a credit card ID or key. Access to the inside is easy using a zipper that opens the pouch on three sides. There is even room for your earbud to poke through.
