Solair monolights employ "constant color" technology that prevents the flash color temperature from visibly shifting no matter what power setting is used. There's no warm cast at lower power levels! That's important in a multi-light setup, where levels can vary greatly. The PL500DRC provides an extended range of flash output. The digital display lets you precisely adjust the flash power setting in 1/10 or 1/2 f-stop increments. Microprocessor circuitry ensures the power level you select is delivered accurately, flash after flash, to within 1/20 of an f-stop. The light has a bright 250 W modeling lamp that can be fully controlled to any output level you need. The eclipse design is noted for the ability to provide cleaner, smoother highlights and catch lights compared to ordinary bounce umbrellas. All the bright metal exposed ribs of a normal umbrella construction are covered on the eclipse umbrella. The EC45BC measures 45" along its curve. The flat-panel interior design is manufactured with a reflective color-neutral white material. Eight-foot heavy duty telescoping air-cushioned stand is constructed from heavy gauge aluminum, with an anodized finish and rubber grip feet. Soft, wheeled case with Velcro liner and dividers for up to 10 compartments. Top has two internal pockets and one full-width external pocket. Holds TAHS13 stands, lights, umbrellas and accessories. With internal and external locking straps, and a carrying handle at one end and the top.
