The Pro 340HD has a maximum height of 57.2 with its center column fully extended. Also with its independent leg spread the tripod's minimum height is 10.4 and for storage it folds down to 19.3. The photo/video pan head is a hybrid which has all the normal controls as a pan-and-tilt head but also has separate knobs to control the drag of the pan-and-tilt. Therefore you can move the camera in the same manner as a video fluid head.
