Behringer

Ideal for use on stages and in home studios, the BA 85A from Behringer is a robust dynamic microphone with a highly directional supercardioid pickup, strongly rejecting noises from the sides and rear for minimal feedback. With an integral shockmounting system, the BA 85A reduces handling noise and offers transparent sound quality. The BA 85A sports a wide frequency response that is ideal on vocals, though it can also work well on instruments. Despite its passive nature, the BA 85A features a high signal output, reducing the amount of boosting needed for a clear sound. The steel pop and windscreen further ensures pristine audio while making this durable metal microphone even more resilient against moisture. The BA 85A includes a mic stand adapter and an impact-resistant carrying case. Why Dynamic? Dynamic mics have several advantages that make them ideal for live vocal applications and for recording amplified instruments. They re robust, resistant to moisture, and can achieve high gain before feedback. The BA Series Super Cardioid pickup pattern captures the source signal, such as a guitar amplifier or vocalist, while shunning off-axis sound. And best of all, dynamic microphones don t require any phantom power, so all you need is your mic and cable.
