Bugera

Compact, versatile, and fully stage ready, the Ultrabass BXD15A from Bugera is a 1000W solid-state combo bass amplifier with a 15" Turbosound aluminum cone. Loaded with a high-voltage MOSFET preamp and passive 3-band Gyrator EQ with a 5-position mid-frequency switch, you can get tubelike tones to cover any style in any environment. The BXD15A is packed with comprehensive tone-control features beyond its versatile EQ, including Ultra Low and Ultra High switches for extended EQ range, a compressor based on a famous studio design, and more. With Dynamizer technology, your voltages are constantly optimized for a fat, punchy tone at any volume level. Thanks to flexible I/O including an XLR DI output, aux inputs, a tuner output, and an FX loop and a wedge-shaped cabinet, this amp is comfortable on stages and in studios. Finally, the BXD15A comes with plenty of protections, including an active cooling system with variable fan speed, and DC and thermal overload protections.Class-D: Massive Power, Optimal Sound Thanks to their advanced Class-D amplifier technology, Bugera can provide you with enormous power and incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use ultraportable and lightweight package. Class-D amplification makes all the difference, offering the ultimate in energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. This technology makes it possible to design and build extremely powerful products that are significantly lighter in weight than their traditional counterparts, while using less energy and protecting the environment.MOSFET Preamp Bugera's high-voltage MOSFET preamplifier elevates solid-state bass tone to a whole new level, providing the sound, feel, and immense dynamics of an authentic tube amp. Just as with real tubes, Bugera's new MOSFET circuits operate at high voltages, providing the preamp with significant headroom from subtle, nuanced, signature riffs and bass lines to your most powerful, attention-grabbing solos.Studio-Quality Compressor The studio-grade compressor is based on classic and famous studio equipment from the '70s. This totally transparent and musical compressor design allows your full dynamic range to shine through until your signal reaches the compression threshold, which is indicated by the highly visible status LED.The compressor increases sustain and gently smoothens signal peaks, which is especially handy when you re laying down the funk with slap and pop techniques, or hammering home your most-aggressive metal lines. The resulting output level lets you unleash powerful, impact-laden bass lines, all while sitting right where you need to be in the mix.Dynamizer Technology A secret technique when mixing audio is known as parallel compression (or New York style compression), which mixes an unprocessed dry signal with a heavily compressed wet signal. This brings up the softest sounds to add audible detail instead of bringing down the highest peaks (as usually occurs with compression). Now, this technology is available to you right in your bass amp through Dynamizer technology. By working directly with the amplifier circuitry, Dynamizer tech adds detail and a fat punch, whether playing very softly or extremely loud. This allows you to take full advantage of every watt available to you.Gyrator Passive EQ 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, and Treble) control with the sound and feel of traditional tube amps5-position mid-frequency switch for better tonal controlUltra Low and Ultra High switches extend overall EQ frequency range for greater versatilityMute switch allows for silent tuning-15 dB input switch jumps between passive and active operationTurbosound Speaker Technology Turbosound has been building cutting-edge speakers for more than 30 years and won the venerable Queen's Award for Innovation numerous times for their highly acclaimed loudspeaker designs.
