Add a versatile all-analog distortion pedal to your signal chain with Dark Matter from TC Electronic, which sports an analog drive circuit reminiscent of both classic and modern Plexi tones. With simple 2-band EQ, you can sculpt the ideal distortion tone in mere moments. The impressive dynamic range and voicing switch lets you attain a wide range of tones, with the down position of the Voice switch adding bass for a more modern guitar sound. The intuitive 4-knob interface includes separate Gain and Level controls for the right level of drive at any volume. True bypass ensures your signal remains pure and free of tone suck or coloring when bypassed. And with a compact yet sturdy die-cast metal case, this pedal will survive years of touring abuse without taking up excessive pedalboard real estate.
