Providing a literal plethora of FX options in a compact footprint, the TC Electronic Plethora X1 is a multi-FX pedal which can store up to 14 customizable TonePrint FX across two slots (seven each). Sporting a MASH footswitch for expressive control and multiple footswitch modes including, latching, momentary, and A/B modes, the Plethora X1 is extremely versatile.The Plethora X1 comes loaded with 14 high-quality TC Electronic FX to start; but you can create and customize your own FX with the TonePrint editor software, and easily load them into your pedal via either USB-C or Bluetooth. A Bluetooth pairing button on the rear makes connections simple. Three knobs are provided for controlling selectable FX parameters, and a 7-way switch lets you select an effect. A 1" IPS LCD display provides visual information of your selected FX and parameters. The pedal features stereo inputs and outputs for immersive FX processing. Analog dry thru keeps your analog signal intact, regardless of bypass or modes of operation, and you can choose between a true bypass mode (default) or a buffered bypass for long cable runs.A Box of Sonic Steroids Plethora X1 is a dedicated TonePrint loader that covers the entire range of TonePrint pedals. In latching mode, it simply turns the effect on and off, and in momentary, the effect is only applied for as long as you press and hold the footswitch. In A/B mode, you can switch between two different effects, and when relevant, you can also tap the tempo using the footswitch. And then, of course, there is the MASH function.MASH It Up Express yourself with the tactile footswitch layer: Simply press and mash. With MASH, a whole new world of ways to manipulate your effects emerges. Prepare for a mind-bending journey of frozen delays, whammy-like pitch-shifting, extreme modulation, and much more. TC Electronic also integrated a dedicated MASH LED where the light strength follows the amount of MASH you apply.Boards, Slots, and TonePrints Plethora X1 comes packed with great effects right out of the gates. You can flick between seven boards with two effect types, each preloaded one in Slot A and one in Slot B. In other words, you get access to all 14 effect types from the get-go.But if you want to bring unique artist TonePrints to the table, simply upload new ones as you see fit. The boards and slots are 100% flexible if you want 14 different FlashBack 2 Delay TonePrints, simply upload them.
