Description
The backbone of any synth sound is a solid oscillator, and the Behringer Oscillator Module 1004 is a great place to start constructing unique tones. Based on the legendary 2500 and featuring discrete dual-core transistor circuitry to add vintage character, it comes equipped with coarse and fine frequency controls, a frequency range switch, an on/off switch, a pulse-width control, and 3 modulation attenuators. What's more, each of the 5 different waveform options features a 3-position toggle switch which can be set to inverted/off/non-inverted. All the enabled waveforms are then mixed together to create complex waveform shapes and amazing sounds.Ins and Outs The 1004 gives you comprehensive connectivity including a 1 V/octave keyboard input and two VCO modulation inputs. It also has a pulse-width modulation input and two parallel oscillator outputs to send signal to other modules.Eurorack Ready Installing the Oscillator Module 1004 into a standard Eurorack case is easy. Just connect the power cable to the power supply and screw in the module using the included screws. Mix the 1004 with other synth, filter, and processing modules for a truly unique setup. At a Glance Classic 1004 dual-core analog VCO module from the 70sAuthentic reproduction of the circuitry from the 2500 SeriesVCO features 5 waveforms: sine, triangle, square, sawtooth, and pulseWaveforms can be combined and inverted into the audio outputsOutput frequency range from 0.03 Hz to 16 kHz in 2 rangesVCO range selectable between Low (LFO) or High (Audio)Coarse frequency control allows adjustment over 10 octavesFine frequency control adjusts over +/- 1 octaveFrequency modulation with 2 inputs and controls responding to 1 V/octaveThe width of the pulse waveform can be set manually and controlled dynamicallyEurorack specs: 16 HP, 60mA, +12V / 50mA, -12V
