Behringer

Featuring an array of linear, logarithmic, and exponential triggered or continuous functions with the Behringer ABACUS, an Algebraic sound processor module modeled after Buchla's models 257 and 281 in Eurorack format. Generate musical envelopes or LFO signals up to 25 minutes long and as fast as 1 kHz. The module includes a power ribbon cable and mounting screws. At a Glance Algebraic sound processor modeled after Buchla's Models 257 and 281 from the '60sPerform wide range of linear, logarithmic, and exponential triggered or continuous functionsGenerate musical envelopes or LFO signals up to 25 minutes and as fast as 1 kHzChange the depth of modulation or even modulate backwardsCreate musical events such as ramping up or down in tempoAmplify, attenuate, integrate, or invert incoming signals for unlimited creativityApply lag, slew, or portamento to control voltages for unique warped effectsInitiate musical events upon sensing motion in the systemCreate note division and flam for amazing effectsGenerate complex modulations by combining up to 4 CVsLEDs indicate activity on all outputs for visual monitoringModulate and Push the Tempo  The ABACUS can generate musical envelopes or LFO signals up to 25 minutes in length and as fast as 1 kHz. Designed for use with other modules, it also allows you to change the modulation depth, modulate backwards and create even more musical events by manipulating tempo.Unlimited Creativity By manipulating the ABACUS' control knobs, incoming signals can be an amplified, attenuated, integrated or inverted for unlimited creativity. Totally unique and crazy warped effects like lag, slew, or portamento can be applied to control voltages, perfect for use with a sequencer or synth keyboard. Up to 4 control voltages can be combined to generate even more complex modulations.Eurorack Ready ABACUS is designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply and mount the module using the included screws. This allows for ABACUS to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.Size: 20 HPPower: 60 mA +12 V; 50 mA -12 V
