Boxlight

Designed to expand the Boxlight ezRoom classroom media control system, the AV PlenumCore is a 1x2' networked ceiling enclosure that contains the CM900 networked audio controller and amplifier. This plenum-rated receiver sports a 3-input, 32W integrated network amp, ideal for allowing teachers to use numerous audio sources to enhance lessons. The AV PlenumCore provides excellent school-wide audio coverage by converting analog audio to IP audio and vice versa. Dedicated ports on the CM900 allow for control functions and integration into alert and paging infrastructure. A unique removable tray allows you to assemble any additional components on the floor rather than on a ladder. The enclosure provides extra space, which can be used to add custom equipment, including an HDMI switch, PoE extractor, or a streaming box like an Apple TV. The PlenumCore features a lockable, RF-friendly, easy slam lid, and support for direct mounting of a duplex junction box. The AV PlenumCore includes all necessary mounting hardware.Key Features and Benefits IP audio encoder and decoder3 analog inputs, 32W amplifier/switcherNetwork-based classroom AV controlRS-232 and IR control outputs and relayNetworked streaming/analog audio to classrooms and school common areasHigh-quality, school-wide audioAuto detect and mute for priority audio alertsNetwork control over non-networked devices like projectorsReduced installation and ongoing maintenance costsConvenient 1x2' Ceiling Tile Design The 1x2' format sits in a standard US ceiling grid and eliminates the need to cut tile during installation. PlenumCore gives designers and integrators a lot more options for customizing an installation, and school technology directors will appreciate that their equipment is secure, out of view, and directly accessible over the network.Part of the ezRoom Ecosystem The CM900, as part of the ezRoom Trio and IP speaker, will increase audio performance, classroom control, and extend your IT budget. When it's combined with FrontRow's CB6000 wall controller, the CM900 will allow for convenient control of all classroom audio sources. Also, RS-232 and IR control outputs allows for networked control & relay over typically non-networked devices like projectors.
