These ear muffs reduce the volume of incoming sound and prevent hearing damage to your child's developing ear drums. Designed for babies and small children up to 36 months in age, the ear muffs are well suited to protect your child during a wide variety of potentially loud situations including festivals, fairs, parties, gatherings, and fireworks events as well as car and motorcycle races.The amount of volume reduction varies across the frequency spectrum, ranging from approximately 10 dB in the low end, to 24 dB in the mids, and about a 30 dB reduction in the upper ranges. The Muffy Baby's soft foam earpads provide long-lasting comfort, while the washable, adjustable elastic straps use a hook-and-loop system to gently but securely keep them in place without putting unpleasant pressure on your little one's head. An additional replacement strap and a storage bag are included.Sleep Well on the Move The Alpine Muffy Baby also ensures that your child can sleep undisturbed while you are on the move.
