Outfitted with a Gen 3 White Phosphor Level 2 intensifier tube, the PVS-14 features an integrated infrared illuminator for use in the darkest conditions and runs for up to 50 hours on a single AA battery. Auto-gating continuously updates the image to prevent "blooming," and high-light cutoff protects the intensifier tube from damage through exposure to bright light. LED indicators alert the operator to low battery, IR light activation, and excessive light.
