The AGM Wolf-7 NL2 1x24 f/1.2 Gen 2+ Level 2 White Phosphor Night Vision Goggle offers rugged dependability with an array of optional accessories to improve functionality and usability depending on your preference and the mission. At the core of the Wolf-7 is a 51-64 lp/mm resolution 2nd generation image intensifier tube and a P-45 white phosphor screen. A huge advancement from the Gen 1, Gen 2 tubes offer longer useful ranges than the earlier tubes with better resolution, cleaner and brighter images, and lower susceptibility to blooming and distortion. White phosphor screens produce views that appear closer to black & white for better object recognition while providing contrast sensitivity. The tube is designated as Level 2: The user may see some spots on the peripheral of the view, but the center will be clear. Utilizing a bi-ocular design keeps the size compact and the weight low to make it more comfortable when wearing it on your head or helmet. It is equipped with automatic brightness control which automatically adjusts the brightness level of the image tube in varying light conditions. Built to withstand the rigors of use in less than ideal conditions, the rugged housing is sealed to be waterproof so it can hold up against driving rain and snow, with a wide operating temperature rant that allows it to operate in weather as cold as -58 F and as hot as 158 F. NVGs like the Wolf-7 depend on at least a little ambient light. Under normal conditions it will deliver exceptional gain and resolution, but when there is absolutely no light you can activate the integrated wide-angle IR illuminator with a range of about 10 feet so you can do first aid & triage, weapon & gear checks, or set up your LZ without giving away your position.Performance Bi-ocular design enables both-eyes-open use while conserving space and weight for head/helmet mountingSingle Gen 2+ intensifier tube with 51-64 lp/mm resolutionGen 2 tubes offer longer useful ranges than Gen 1 with better resolution, cleaner and brighter images, and lower susceptibility to blooming and distortionP-45 white phosphor screen produces a more black & white view versus the signature night vision yellow-green for improved object recognition with the same or better contrast sensitivity"Level 2" tube condition indicates that the user may see some spots on the peripheral of the view, but the center will be clearCompact 24mm f/1.2 system helps to maintain a compact and lightweight form factorMulti-coated optics maximize the available useful light for better performanceShort 10" minimum focus distance allows user to perform close tasks like gear checks with ease40 field of viewUse and Handling Individually focusing eyepieces with keeps views sharp and clear even when the user's vision isn't perfectIntegrated short-range wide-angle infrared (IR) illuminator with a 10-foot maximum range improves performance in absolute dark conditions where there is not enough ambient light ideal for gear checks, first aid, or setting up a basecampBright light cut-off prevents damage to intensifier tube and user's eyeAutomatic brightness control adjusts display brightness to ensure clear views without oversaturation or giving away the user's positionAutomatic shut-off feature turns unit off when flipped up from the eyes user must manually turn unit on when flipped down againIn-view LED indicators for low battery, IR illuminator on, and excessive light conditionsConstruction Rugged design can withstand harsh environments and intense useHead mount goggle kit included for hands-free use with optional helmet kit available separatelyWaterproof for use in harsh and wet conditionsCapable of running on one 3V CR123 to maximize runtime or the more common and easy to find AA with a shorter runtimeRuntime of up to 60 hours on the included CR123A batteryBroad -40 to 122 F operating temperature rangeCompact design with a length of under 8 inchesLight 16 ounce weightWide array of optional accessories to improve and expa
