The maximum load would be 40 lb assuming a well-distributed load and proper secure attachment of the suspended ceiling T-bar frame to the true ceiling. For example, the bar will support 4-10 lb lights if they are evenly distributed along the bar. If the lights are located near the bar ceiling mount clips, then the weight of the light could be as high as 20 lb, assuming the secure attachment of the bar support to the true ceiling.
