BRESSER

BRESSER's black 8x42 Everest Binoculars features phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, extra-low-dispersion (ED) and broadband anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to produce a versatile and capable optic with true high-contrast color rendition, and bright, clear images. Coupled with the optical features are 42mm diameter objectives which give the binoculars very competent low-light performance and an immersive 65 apparent viewing angle. This combination of optics and objectives make the Everest ideally suited for most outdoor activities from birding, to sporting events, to comet, or asteroid spotting.Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The housing is protected by a rubberized armor that is textured for a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof. A diopter adjustment and twist-up eyecups allow the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs and can be comfortably used with or without eye wear. For long-term glassing, the Everest is tripod mountable with an optional adapter.Optical Performance 8x magnification42mm objective lensBAK4 roof prism optical designExtra-low-dispersion (ED) glass corrects chromatic aberration for true color renditionPhase-corrected prisms transmit true high-contrast colorsBroadband anti-reflection fully multi-coated lenses maximize light transmission for bright and clear imagesWide 65 apparent field of view427' field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Open-bridge configurationLarge textured center focus wheelTwist-up eyecups for customized eye relief with or without eyewearTripod mountable with optional adapterConstruction Details Lightweight aluminum alloy chassisNitrogen-filled fogproof and waterproof housingRubber armor exterior protects against bumps and impactsTextured surface provides a non-slip gripWeight: 23.9 ounces
