The Kaiser RB 5970 UV Lighting Unit is a professional-grade dual-bank light system designed for UV and fluorescence photography. Each bank features 12 UV-A LEDs and operates via constant current drivers to ensure flicker-free performance, ideal for high-resolution stills and video. Both lights are independently dimmable and can be tilted, swiveled, and adjusted in height to shape light precisely across the shooting surface. The vertical arms include height markings and detented tilting, offering repeatable control. Each light mounts via a durable cast clamp base with a maximum clamp width of 1.9 inches, ensuring secure attachment to a wide range of copy stands. The system produces a 100 radiation angle, with 2 x 9W power consumption and compatibility with both 120V (60 Hz) and 220 240V (50/60 Hz) power sources. Two 5.6 ft. mains cables are included for flexible setup. The RB 5970 is compatible with all Kaiser R1 system copy stands, as well as the RS 2 XA (205411), RSD (205602), and RSDmot (205603) models making it a reliable solution for precise, even lighting in scientific, forensic, and archival imaging environments.
