Deliver powerful sampling and audio mangling for Eurorack with the 1010 Music bitbox mk2, an intuitive sampler that adds recording, sample playback, clip launching, slicing, granular sounds, and musically intelligent looping capabilities to your Eurorack rig. With its integrated 3.5" touchscreen that's designed to simplify selecting, editing, and tweaking your samples, the bitbox mk2 allows you to tweak and save your configurations for future use.You can stream large samples of up to 4GB file size straight from the microSD card. Interact with other musical components via CV and MIDI. You can also download fxbox and synthbox firmware from the 1010 Music forum and install it on your bitbox mk2 to get three modules in one. Swap to the fxbox firmware to get effects processing, or the synthbox firmware to play with wavetable synthesis. The bitbox mk2 includes a 3.5mm to DIN MIDI adapter and a ribbon cable.Sample Playback Play up to 24 polyphonic notes when your samples fit in the 64MB of internal memory or up to 8 larger samples streaming directly from the microSD cardConfigure 16 sample pads per preset as single or multi-samples, clips, slicers, granular or new recordingsStream long samples from the microSD card with a max sample size of 4GB, which can be many hours of audioTrigger samples with the touch screen, CV gate inputs, or MIDI inputUse MIDI for polyphonic playback of samples or slicesUse MIDI to control sample recordingControl how samples start and stop by choosing from trigger, toggle, and gate launch modesTweak playback through a variety of sample parameters, including start position, length, pitch, level, filter, loop mode, launch quantization, ADSR, Exclusive Grouping, clip synchronization, slice placement and sequencing, grain size, grain spread, grain count, and MIDI note and channel mappingSample Recording Record samples from a stereo audio input pairConfigure each pad for stereo or mono recording with the option to synchronize the start and stop times to clock inputsTrigger recording via audio level thresholdCreate perfectly sized loops by setting the recording lengthEnable immediate playback after recording for live looping capabilitiesMake recordings up to four hours in lengthStore recorded samples as WAV files on the microSD card, then remove the card to transfer them to your computerSample Modes Trigger one shots or launch loops using sample modeLoad a folder of samples into a sample mode pad to improve the quality of the pitch shifting when playing a sample chromatically or to trigger different samples with each notePlay time-synchronized loops with constant pitch time shifting in clip modeSkip between slices of a WAV using slicer modeCreate rich textures and other worldly sounds with granular modeExternal Control and Synchronization Playback can be immediate or synchronized to internal clock, TRS clock in, or MIDI clock in and outTrigger each pad independently through a dedicated gate inputUse MIDI to trigger pads via a note per padPlay a single or multisample pad pitch, shifted using MIDI notes or CVTrigger different sample slices using MIDI notes or CVModulate a wide variety of sample parameters through the MIDI input and up to 8 CV signalsQuickly set up MIDI modulation using Learn mode no need to look up CC numbersModule Features Use the 3.5 diagonal touch screen to intuitively explore the features of the moduleGet more creative with double the processing power of the original bitboxFill out your sound with reverb and delayImport or export WAV files with your Mac or PC using a microSD cardSave and recall multiple presetsIncrease your capacity with larger microSD cardsSelect Flipped UI mode to mount the unit with the screen on the bottom and use the screen, knobs, buttons, and CV jacks as you normally would
