This Lens Shade for Loxia 21mm f/2.8 Lens from ZEISS is a replacement or spare dedicated lens hood for the original that is included with the lens. Dedicated lens hoods are designed for the specific focal length of their lens and block unwanted light from entering the camera to reduce unwanted flare. They also help protect the lens against accidental smudges and impact.
