The aluminum mount provides a friction hinge that supports an on-camera monitor, it tilts back and forth 180 , and it is adjustable using the tightening thumbscrew. The mounting base is compatible with a Canon Accessory Mount, such as the C70 hot shoe, which can interlock and create a solid connection. The monitor mounts onto the top 1/4"-20 screw, which also features anti-twist pins that are compatible with SmallHD monitors, and a rubber pad is included to secure and protect other on-camera monitors.
