The 2X Fresnel for Bowen S Mount from Angler is a 6" glass focusing Fresnel lens modifier that fits on most strobes and LED lights with a Bowen mount. It employs a traditional ribbed lens design to focus, sharpen, and amplify light beam output. The rotating barrel focuses the spread from an intense 12 spot to a broad 40 flood with a smooth falloff from the center hot spot. An additional result of focusing the beam is light output that's amplified by a factor of 2 with minimal light spill.The dual-lens design features an inner lens that focuses and amplifies the beam before reaching the focusable 6" glass Fresnel. The angle of the beam adjusts with a simple turn of the focusing ring, and a scale showing the beam output angle makes it easy to repeat lighting setups.NOTE: This fresnel spot is not compatible with the Aputure LS 300x monolight.Focusable Fresnel Lens With the adjustable-length Fresnel lens, a light can be set in one spot and modified, and the tightness of the light pattern can be adjusted without moving or shifting the fixture. Pinpoint a specific area or aspect of the subject with minimal effort and no downtime.Dual-Lens Design An inner lens directs the output of the light source to the focusable Fresnel lens to minimize light leaks. By focusing the light, the interior lens doubles the light instrument's normal output.Withstands Heat The 2X Fresnel features integrated heat sinks that allow airflow around the unit, allowing it to withstand the heat from a 300W LED light or lower. NOTE: Using light units above 300W is not recommended.Padded Travel Case This compact Fresnel is meant for travel to any location. Put it in the padded bag and take it anywhere you're setting up lights. It's an effective and essential lighting accessory whether shooting indoors or out.
