Opticron

Ideal for glassing needs on land and water, the Opticron 8x42 Oregon 4 PC Oasis Binoculars feature proprietary phase-correcting prism coatings and reflective prism surfaces that maximize light transmission and boost clarity and contrast. The prism coatings are complemented by anti-reflection fully multicoated optics which provide bright, clear, high-contrast views with accurate color rendition. The 42mm objectives gather all the light needed to keep views crisp and bright in challenging conditions, such as at dawn and dusk, without being overly bulky or cumbersome. Their chassis is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be resistant to internal fogging and waterproof to withstand extreme weather, with textured palm pads on the armor to ensure a secure grip in cold and wet weather.Optical Performance Moderate magnification brings objects in close for detailed observation while preserving the wide exit pupil and long eye reliefeObjective lenses improve light-gathering ability, even in challenging conditions such as at dawn and dusk, without the bulk or weight of larger objectivesCompact roof prisms help to produce a thinner housing size without compromising performanceBAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortionPhase correcting prism coatings improve contrast and clarityOasis-C+ prism coatings reduce internal light loss for clearer viewsAnti-reflection fully multicoated optics improve light transmission, color rendition, and contrastField of view approaches wide angle to provide an immersive experience without the need to move your head side to side to see the whole terrain367.5' field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Closed bridge configuration provides a solid and stable platform for the internal focusing mechanismLarge slip-resistant center focus wheel is easy to manipulate in cold and wet weather, or when wearing glovesRight-eye dioptric correction ensures tack-sharp views even if your eyes aren't perfectThree-position twist-up rubber eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear1/4"-20 mounting socket allows the binoculars to be mounted on a tripod using an optional adapter for hands-free, fatigue-free, and vibration-free useExceptional eye relief provides a generous eye box that reduces eye strain and increases viewing comfortWide exit pupil will cover pupils as they open and fully dilate in low and fading light to keep the whole scene in your viewConstruction Details Combination of aluminum and polycarbonate used in the construction reduces weight without sacrificing strengthNitrogen-filled to be resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in weather and environmental conditionsO-ring sealed to be waterproofBlack armor provides a slip-resistant gripTextured palm pads improve grip in cold and wet conditions1-piece eyepiece rainguard and tethered objective caps ensure they won't get lostIncludes carrying case and neck strap
