Opticron

Opticron's 10x42 Oregon 4 PC Oasis Monocular features a phase-corrected BAK4 roof prism, large objective lens, and anti-reflection fully multicoated optics to give you a versatile and capable optic that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition from dawn to dusk. The high magnification and large objective allows you to observe at a long distance without giving your position away. Its wide angle of view reveals a large observation area while minimizing the appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics such as this. The combination of optics, magnification, and viewing angle makes this version of the Oregon 4 PC Oasis ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hiking, to birding, to sightseeing.Optical Performance High 10x power brings distant subjects in close for detailed observations42mm objective lens boosts low-light capabilities to provide bright and clear views from dawn to duskCompact roof prism light path ensures thin optical tubes to help maintain a slim form factorBAK4 prism produces crisp and sharp views with a round exit pupilPhase-corrected prism coatings eliminate internal interference to improve contrast and resolutionAnti-reflection fully multicoated optics maximize light transmission to improve image brightness, color rendition, and contrastShort close focus distance of less than 6 feet makes it ideal for detailed observation of small birds and bugs at feeders or on and around flora and faunaWide 60 apparent angle of view helps to minimize the distracting hand shake common when holding high-power optics315-foot field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Large textured focusing wheel makes it easy to manipulate even in cold and wet weather or while wearing glovesThree-stage click-stop twist-up eyecup for comfortable use with or without eyewearLong 18mm eye relief makes long-duration observation more comfortable with reduced eyestrainComfortable 4.2mm exit pupil will cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low-light conditions for easier viewingConstruction Details Aluminum and polycarbonate chassis materials make optic strong, lightweight, and durableNitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditionsRubber armoring protects against bumps and hits while providing a slip-resistant gripCompact and lightweight design is easier to use and hold versus similar binoculars
