Hawke Sport Optics

Outfitted with a magnification and objective lens size favored by hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts around the world, the Hawke Optics 10x42 Frontier HD X Binoculars are packed with features to greatly enhance your glassing experience, including phase-corrected and dielectric-coated BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection fully multi-coated objective lenses. These work together to produce a versatile and capable optic optimized for long-distance observation, with bright and clear images and accurate color rendition. Additionally, their exceptional field of view will allow you to take in sweeping vistas or a playing field without having to move your head very much and greatly increasing your comfort and enjoyment. Coupled with the optical features are full-sized 42mm diameter objectives that draw in copious amounts of light to push their usability from the predawn hours all the way through to dusk.Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make these binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The lightweight and durable magnesium-alloy chassis is protected by a gray rubberized armor that is textured for a nonslip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment and twist-up eyecups allow the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs and can be comfortably used with or without eyewear. Protecting the objectives and eyepieces are tethered caps that come off fast for easy reaction to glassing opportunities without the possibility of losing them.Optical Performance High 10x magnification brings distant subjects in for close viewing and identification42mm objective lenses provide the light-gathering capability required for enhanced low-light performance without the associated bulk and weight of larger lensesBAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortionDielectric prism coatings boost internal surface reflectivity to greater than 99% for maximum light transmission through the prism with minimal loss and diffraction and improved contrast and clarityPhase-corrected prism coatings reduce internal interference to improve contrast, clarity, and resolutionAnti-reflection fully multi-coated lenses maximize light transmission for bright and clear images with accurate color renditionWater-repellent exterior lens coating allows water to bead and run off to ensure clear views in inclement weather conditionsWide 64 apparent angle of view helps to minimize the appearance of distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics336-foot field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Closed bridge configuration offers a stable platform for the internal focusing mechanismFast focusing system runs through the minimum focus distance to infinity in just 1.5 turns to make acquiring subjects fast and tracking moving targets easyLarge slip-resistant center focus wheel is easy to manipulate in cold or wet conditions or when wearing glovesRight-eye diopter adjustment enables users to compensate for optical prescription for sharper viewsWide 56-74mm interpupillary adjustment range allows easy use by wide variety of peopleTwist-up click-stop eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear; removable and replaceable15mm eye relief improves viewing comfort and reduces eyestrain during long glassing sessionsComfortable 4.2mm exit pupil will cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low lightConstruction Details Lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant magnesium-alloy chassisNitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditions, and IPX7-rated waterproof and submersible to a depth of 3.3' (1m) for up to 30 minutesGray rubberized armor exterior protects against bumps and impactsErgonom
