Description
Ideal for connecting 8-ohm speaker pairs in living spaces, balconies, and gardens to a central amplifier, the 2-Way Speaker Switch from Audioflow is a smart switcher that supports up to two speaker zones and amps up to 300W. With a plethora of control options, including touch buttons, Wi-Fi, and remote control, this switch is convenient and intuitive. The 2-Way Speaker Switch supports up to two pairs of speakers. Zones A and B are routed in series to one another, meaning your amp will receive the total added impedance of both zones. Control options include the front-panel touch controls, the Audioflow app for iOS and Android via Wi-Fi, Amazon Alexa voice assistant, and a contact closure remote control input in the rear. Four-pin block connectors are used for the amplifier input and speaker zone outputs, while a 5-pin block connector is used for remote control input. Designed and manufactured in the UK, the 2-Way Speaker Switch includes an external power supply and a set of international plugs (UK, EU, USA, and Australia) for the power adapter. Why Use Audioflow Switches? Manually operated mechanical speaker switches were popular when hi-fi systems were a tactile experience with record players, CD players, and radio tuners. Now that music is typically streamed from the internet, mechanical speaker switches rarely get used, as pressing buttons on a physical switch is inconvenient. However, Audioflow changes this.Audioflow is the only speaker switch that connects to your Wi-Fi network and allows you to operate the switch remotely via the iOS/Android app, Amazon Alexa, and Control Systems. Where manually operated switches offer a generally poor user experience, Audioflow is much more convenient as you can operate the switch with the same device you use to play and control music.Ideal Applications Sub zones in bedrooms, dressing rooms, balconies, bathrooms, living rooms, etc.Expansion and extension of existing audio installationsControl system integration for existing systemsCost-efficient audio installsIntegration of smart technology (such as Alexa and Wi-Fi control) into existing audio installs
