Striking a sensitive balance between compact and full-sized, the Leica 10x32 Trinovid HD Binoculars enjoy the performance of the latter, and the easy portability of the former without sacrifice. Engineered with the technology that users have come to expect from the brand, the Trinovid features P40 phase-corrected prisms treated with their HighLux system to limit internal light diffraction and eliminate interference for improved clarity, sharpness, and contrast. The objective lenses are fully multi-coated with Leica's HDC coatings for maximum light transmission through the optical path to ensure accurate color fidelity and high-contrast views, especially in challenging lighting conditions. These technologies work together and complement each other to produce an immersive observational experience with bright images that are clear and sharp across a field of view that approaches wide angle. To capture extremely close-up views of small birds, bugs, butterflies, and insects, the Trinovid is equipped with a powerful 10x magnification and an exceptionally short 3.3' minimum focus distance.Built to withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum-alloy wrapped in a protective slip-resistant rubber armor. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof, and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes or conditions. A wide interpupillary adjustment range, generous 4dioptric correction, long 16mm eye relief, and four-position click-stop eyecups ensures easy and comfortable use by most people. From the binoculars' exceptional optical performance to the thoughtful construction details, these midsized Trinovid binoculars deliver performance while being comfortable in the hand during long observation sessions on the trail, at the range, in the stadium, or sightseeing around town.Optical Performance 10x magnification32mm objective lensesCompact roof prism optical pathP40 phase corrected prism coatings increases contrast and clarity while eliminating halos and comasHLS (HighLux System): Highly-reflective coatings on prisms reduce internal light lossHDC anti-reflection fully multi-coatings increase light transmission throughout optical path to improve color rendition, brightness, clarity, and contrastDirt and water-repellent AquaDura coating on outer lens surfaces makes them easy to clean, ensuring clear viewsWide 61 apparent angle of view342' field of view at 1000 yardsShort 3.3' (1m) close focus distanceUse and Handling Closed-bridge configurationLarge, knurled center focusing wheel is easy to manipulate even when wearing gloves 4 right-eye dioptric correction58-76mm interpupillary adjustment rangeTwist-up four-position click-stop rubber eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewearLong 16mm eye relief3.2mm exit pupilConstruction Details Lightweight and durable aluminum-alloy chassisProtective rubber armor provides a slip-resistant gripNitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof for 13'(4m), and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperatures and conditionsWeight: 22.6 ounces
