Featuring generous-sized, premium-glass objective lenses and a wide field of view, the 8x42 EVR II ED Binoculars from Optisan offer a bright, clear view for hunting, birding, and general glassing. Extra-low dispersion apochromatic lenses render views with minimal chromatic aberration, exceptional color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and optimal light transmission. The 8x magnification is more than enough for most purposes, yet the EVR II ED can focus as close as 6.6 feet away for nearby birds, butterflies, and flowers. The aluminum housing is nitrogen-filled for fog and waterproof performance. A neoprene neck strap comes pre-attached, with buckles for attaching an optional chest charness.Optical Performance 8x magnification42mm objective lensesFully multicoated lenses increase transmission, clarity, and brightnessDielectric-coated, phase-correcting BAK4 roof prisms improve true color, contrast, and transmission7.5 angle of view393' linear field of view at 1000 yardsBirding-friendly 6.6' close focus distanceUse and Handling Nitrogen-filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature and environmental conditionsShort-hinge bridge cuts weight and exposes more surface for handlingAdjustable interpupillary distance: 58-76mmOversized knurled center focusing wheelDiopter ring on right eyepieceTwist-up, removable tapered rubber eyecups
