The beige DPA 4071 CORE+ is a miniature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance, and theatrical applications. The low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule can handle loud vocalists, speakers, and performers and offers a presence boost to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible audio. The mic features a rugged yet unobtrusive design that is well suited to the demands of professional live stage work and presentations. This version of the mic features a compact and reliable MicroLock connector that will work with a wide variety of wireless transmitters via separately available adapters.The CORE+ technology in the 4071 delivers a wide dynamic range and almost completely neutralizes distortion at SPLs up to 133 dB, helping to provide clean, crisp, and natural sonic performance, even on loud stages. Included are two interchangeable capsule-protection grids that alter the sonic character of the mic for better results in different placement positions.The 4071 is wired for low sensitivity, allowing it to handle peak SPLs of up to 137 dB with less than 1% distortion, making it well suited for loud speakers, vocalists, and presenters. The 4071 CORE+ is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless microphone transmitter. Modular System Featuring MicroLock ConnectorMicroLock for Secure, Dependable Connections Built to withstand the rigors of long-term everyday use, DPA's MicroLock system features an easy-to-use, secure, and wear-resistant locking connector specially engineered to minimize accidental disconnection and ensure reliable performance. The compact design is well suited to situations where space is limited and a visually discreet solution is preferred.Adapters Available for Various Wireless Transmitters The 4071 will work with a wide variety of wireless transmitters via separately available adapters. Simply choose the MicroLock adapter with the appropriate connector for your bodypack transmitter and you're good to go.Backward Compatible MicroLock is fully backwards compatible with the MicroDot connection; MicroLock parts can be assembled with MicroDot parts and function as if they were of the MicroDot type. Please note that the locking function is only available if both the male and female parts are MicroLock.
