The housing is made from brass with nickel plating, while the electrical conductor is brass with gold plating. The connectors are suitable for use with signals including HD-SDI, UHD, SMPTE 2082-1 12 Gb/s UHDTV, SMPTE 2081-1 6 Gb/s UHDTV, and SMPTE 424M 3 Gb/s HD-SDI 1080p signals.
