The UMH-250/HOR/MOG/32/T15 UMH Metal Halide Lamp (250W/118-148V/3200K) from Ushio was specifically designed for fiber optic and light pipe applications. This lamp is predominantly used in applications with a fiber diameter of more than 8mm at the input and offers an unproblematic operation with standard ballasts and lowers cost applications. The lamp features an ellipsoidal reflector coated with a special dichroic coating which transmits most of the lamp's heat radiation toward the rear.
