With the splitter installed, users can duplicate and extend their display using DisplayPort cabling in the classroom, meeting room, digital signage, medical, or other collaboration systems. This splitter is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.2a female input, and that signal is output using two DisplayPort female ports. In addition to video, the unit supports 7.1-channel digital audio surround sound and Single-Stream Transport (SST), is HDCP 1.4 compliant, and requires a graphics card that is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2a.
