This 2.6 gal bottle of Kodak Anti-Calcium, No. 4 is a dry chemical recommended for use with most photographic developers to prevent or reduce the formation of calcium scum or sludge on film, in solutions, or on other developing equipment. These insoluble accumulations are mainly caused by calcium salts in hard water, and their formation is inhibited through the use of this calcium binding agent.
