Meopta

Designed to be your go-to optic for long-range/low-light use in wide open and expansive terrain, like the plains of the American West, the Meopta 15x56 MeoStar B1 Plus HD Binoculars provides a superior viewing experience by combining well-engineered optics and a wide field of view with a lightweight and durable ergonomic housing. The pairing of massive 56mm objectives with powerful 15x magnification produces a comfortable eye relief that ensures you won't get eye strain if you spend long hours looking through them. Extra-low dispersion (ED) fluoride glass lenses, treated with proprietary MeoBright multicoatings, and compact Schmidt-Pechan prisms deliver vivid true-color images that are bright and crisp even when observing small game at extreme distances or when you're scanning the landscape at first light or late dusk. The lenses are further treated with Meopta's proprietary MeoShield and MeoDrop exterior coatings that protect them from scratches and makes cleaning oils and other contaminants easy without leaving residue. These coatings ensure the lenses stay free from imperfections that can interfere with your glassing experience and let you immerse yourself in the view.Meopta designed the binoculars with ergonomics in mind to minimize user fatigue during long observations. Its large center focusing wheel is easy to use with either hand and a locking dioptric correction dial, located on the focusing knob, ensures precise focusing even if you normally wear corrective eyeglasses. The housing is made from a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy that is center weighted by the prism design, so they sit comfortably in the hand. Protective rubber armor wraps the body and provides a slip-resistant grip, especially in cold and wet conditions. The housing is nitrogen filled and sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions.Optical Performance Designed for use in wide and open terrain such as is found in the American West, where extreme long-distance observation and identification are commonPowerful 15x magnifies the view, allowing detailed observation and identification of distant subjectsMassive 56mm objective lenses draw in the large amounts of light required to deliver bright views in pre-dawn or deep dusk or when observing subjects at long distancesSchimdt-Pechan roof prism design allows for thinner optical tubes versus the more common Abbe-Koenig design, resulting in an easier-to-hold form factor without compromising performanceExtra-low dispersion (ED) fluoride glass objective lenses correct chromatic aberrations and fringing to deliver bright and clear high-contrast and high-resolution views with accurate color representationProprietary ion-assisted MeoBright multicoatings deliver 99.7% light transmission while suppressing glareMeoShield exterior coating protects lenses from scratches or abrasionsMeoDrop lens coatings repel water and allow grease, skin oils, and surface contaminants to be removed without residue that can impair view clarityWide 63 apparent angle of view provides sweeping views of the terrain with reduced appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power opticsGenerous 221-foot field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Closed-bridge configuration provides a solid and stable platform for the internal focusing mechanismLarge slip-resistant center focusing knob with 3 dioptric correction dial is easy to manipulate in cold and wet conditions, even while wearing glovesLocking diopter sets the desired correction against accidental adjustmentWide 56-74mm interpupillary adjustment rangeTwist-up rubber eyecups for easy use with or without eyewear15mm eye relief reduces eyestrain during long glassing sessions3.7mm exit pupilConstruction Details Corrosion-resistant and durable aluminum housingRubberized armor protects chassis while offering a slip-resistant gripNitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme con
