Description
Designed for more advanced intermediate or professional users, the BRESSER Science MTL-201 50-800x Trinocular Microscope is geared for use in various industries and applications, such as inspecting and observing larger specimens and objects in textiles, metallurgy, mineralogy, research, laboratory, and quality-control inspection of circuit boards. Its trinocular head features binocular 10x wide-field eyepieces set at a comfortable 30 angle and a dedicated camera port on the top to allow you to send the view to a computer for later analysis or stream to a projector or screen for presentations. A simple mechanical switch easily directs the view to either the oculars or camera port. A five-position nosepiece holds a wide array of objectives that, when combined with the eyepieces, produce a broad magnification range from a low of 50x to a high of 800x.Since the microscope is geared for larger samples of solid objects, BRESSER opted for a single halogen incidental illuminator. A field diaphragm, dimmer, polarizer/analyzer, and filter holder/slider allow you to precisely light your sample for improved color, contrast, and clarity no matter what you examine. The large stage is ideal for holding big items like rocks, cloth, watches, and jewelry and is fully adjustable on the X-Y axes so you can center specific points of interest on a given sample quickly and easily without having to move the actual object. A two-speed coaxial focuser with ambidextrous coarse and fine focusing knobs makes it easy to use by lefties or righties, with a tension adjustment and limit stop. This professional microscope allows you to comfortably examine a wide range of specimens and samples at many magnifications with the ability to save the view for later use or stream it in a lab, lecture hall, or online webinar.Use and Handling Advanced design intended for professional and expert usersIdeal for inspecting/observing larger specimens and objects in metallurgy, mineralogy, research, laboratory, and quality-control inspection applicationsEyepieces set at a 30 angle to make it more comfortable to useTrinocular head has dual eyepieces for more comfortable viewing, with an integrated camera port to make documenting or streaming the view easierEye relief and interpupillary adjustments allow different users to achieve the most comfortable viewing experiencePerformance Two 10x 23.2mm diameter wide-field eyepiecesLeft eye dioptric correction allows the user to fine-tune the focus for their individual eye strengthFive planchromatic objectives: 5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, and 80xPlanchromatic objectives correct chromatic aberration for true color representation without fringing or halosQuickly switch between 50x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and 800x combined magnifications for a wide variety of specimen sizes and applicationsSimple mechanical switch directs the view to either the eyepieces or the camera portFocusing Dual-speed coarse and fine coaxial focusing allow for easy and precise adjustment without driftFocus knobs on both sides of the body for ambidextrous controlTension adjustment on the coarse axis eliminates drift and allows for more control of the focusPrecise scale on the fine focus knob, with the smallest graduation of approximately 0.7 m of vertical travelPre-focus lever gets specimen within focusing range quicklyAdjustable limit stop knob to prevent objective from striking specimen/slide/stageIllumination and Stage Incident (upper) illumination from one changeable 6V/20W halogen bulbIllumination dimmer allows precise control of the amount of lightFilter slider/changer with green, blue, yellow, and clear matte filters enhances view and contrast for a wide assortment of specimens and samplesCombination polarizer/ analyzer allows users to reduce the appearance of reflected light to improve contrast, color, and clarityDiaphragm helps to control the light hitting the specimen/sample, improves contrast, and can be centeredMaximum object height of 1.24" (29mm)Large 10 x 9" (25 x 23
