Alpen Optics

Straddling the fine line between compact and full-sized, the Alpen Optics 8x32 MagnaView Binoculars are designed for power, performance, and portability. The moderate magnification, 32mm objectives and anti-reflection fully multicoated optics work together to help boost their light-gathering abilities and push the limits of their use as the light fades while delivering bright and clear high-contrast views with true-to-life color. If the weather takes a turn, have no fear the chassis is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be dustproof, waterproof, and even submersible, so it'll shake off a tumble into a puddle better than you.Optical Performance Moderate 8x magnification brings subjects like players, architectural details, and birds in for close observation without narrowing the field of view or exit pupil32mm objective lenses perform close to a full sized model with the portability of a compact modelCompact BK7 roof prism light path keeps the optical tubes thin for easier handling and packingAnti-reflection fully multicoated optics improve clarity, contrast, color representation288-foot field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Closed bridge configuration provides a stable platform for the center focusing mechanismLow-profile center focus knob is easy to reach for left or right-handed usersRight-eye diopter dial enables precise focusing even if the user's eyes aren't perfectFold-down eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear15mm eye reliefComfortable 4mm exit pupilConstruction Details Compact form factor will easily fit in most pockets, packs, and pursesNitrogen-filled to be fogproof when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditionsWaterproof and submersible to 3.3 feet for up to 15 minutesProtective armor provides shock resistance and a slip-resistant gripErgonomic design provides comfort and grip securityLight 16-ounce weight
