Part of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the Neumann MC 4 is a clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck on the rib/body of a double bass. The gooseneck attaches to the clip via a holder that rotates along one or two axes and locks in 45 increments to prevent cable twists and allow for precise and reliable positioning of the microphone over the instrument. Easy to use, the MC 4 features a self-adjusting spring mechanism and a rubber coating that ensure slip-free attachment without damaging the sensitive surfaces on the instrument. You can use the included reducer to adapt the clip to particularly slim instruments.
