Part of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the Neumann MC 8 is a magnetic clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck inside or on a grand piano or upright piano. The gooseneck attaches to the clip via a holder that rotates along one or two axes and locks in 45 increments to prevent cable twists and allows for precise and reliable positioning of the microphone over the instrument. Easy to use, the MC 8 features a magnet that keeps the clip in place and a rubber coating that ensures slip-free attachment without damaging the sensitive surfaces on the instrument.
