Prism Sound

The 8C-AD Analog Line Input Module adds eight electronically balanced analog input channels on female XLR connectors to the Prism Sound ADA-8XR audio interface. Input line-up level (sensitivity) is variable for each channel over the range of 0 dBFS=+5.0 dBu to 0 dBFS=+24.0 dBu, in 0.5 dBu steps plus a fine trim. Each channel has a Prism Sound Overkiller progressive limiter capability that prevents the A/D converter from reaching full-scale, even when the input level significantly exceeds the selected input range. Control of the input line-up level, trim, and Overkillers is done via menus provided in the ADA-8XR.
