The MakerBot Method ABS-R Filament 5-Pack provides valuable information including material type, color, and amount remaining via an RFID chip directly to MakerBot Print. A desiccant in the spool maintains a low moisture level inside the drawer bay. It should be stored in the included a vacuum-sealed metalized polyester bag. The bag avoids moisture absorption from air and provides long-term exposure to humidity that can compromise material quality and performance.
