Mirrorless cameras are ideal for astrophotography due to their small size which limits obstruction, and now you can easily attach your Sony mirrorless to an 8" Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) with the Celestron 8" RASA Camera Adapter. Made of lightweight and durable aluminum and treated with a scratch-resistant and reflection-limiting black anodized finish, the adapter has the appropriate bayonet mount for the camera body so no other adapters are required while placing the sensor at the appropriate backfocus to capture clear and crisp images.
