Designed for the inspection of various types of industrial plants and utility companies, the Ventus OGI Camera Payload for Astro from FREEFLY is a 3-axis stabilized gimbal with an OGI (Optical Gas Imaging) sensor designed by Sierra-Olympia Technologies. This highly sensitive piece of equipment delivers 640 x 512 resolution mid-wave infrared thermal images in real-time, letting inspectors quickly and accurately detect fugitive hydrocarbon emissions in hard-to-reach locations, such as methane, butane, benzene, and more. A GEM (Gas Enhancement Mode) colorizes these hydrocarbon gas leaks to make them stand out even more.
