Snypex improved on the design of their top-tier line to produce these 8x32 Knight D-ED Binoculars. They upgraded their eyepiece and objective lens configuration to 5-elements in four groups for both for improved optical quality and overall image brightness. Complementing this improvement is the use of fully multi-coated extra low-dispersion glass, and dielectric-coated phase-correcting BAK4 prisms. These technologies work together to produce bright and clear images with accurate color rendition across the entire field of view without distortion. This iteration is made with a versatile 8x magnification which provides a wider field of view and reduced visible hand-shake versus their higher-power vision, while preserving the same short close focus distance. The Knight's open-bridge design helps to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and provides a large surface area to hold, even with the compact housing. Rubber armoring gives protection from drops and impacts while helping to provide a non-slip grip. Designed for durability, the lightweight fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and make them submersible. Twist-up eyecups provide a custom-fit eye relief for use with or without eye-wear.Performance 8x magnification32mm objective lensesCompact BAK4 roof prismsExtra low-dispersion glass corrects chromatic and spherical aberrations for color-accurate images without distortion across the field of viewFully multi-coated optics increase light transmission, image brightness, and contrastDielectric, phase-corrected prism coatings reduce internal light diffraction while improving contrast and color renditionWater-resistant exterior lens coatings helps to keep lenses clear in inclement weatherEyepiece optical configuration: 5 elements, 4 groupsObjective lens configuration: 5 elements, 4 groups351' field of view at 1000 yardsLong 16.8mm eye reliefComfortable 4mm exit pupilUse and Handling Open-bridge/dual hinge configuration reduces weight without sacrificing strengthLarge knurled center focus wheelShort 3.9' close focus distanceRight-eye dioptric correctionTwist-up eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewearTripod mountable with optional adapterConstruction Bridge design adds more surface area for a secure gripLightweight and durable fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate chassisSlip-resistant and protective rubber armoringNitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproofIP67-rated to be dustproof and submersible
