Cordoba

Sleek, innovative, and extremely easy to play, the Stage Acoustic/Electric Guitar from Cordoba offers their first nylon string electric guitar instrument, which utilizes a distinct solid body design to address common problems for stage playing, such as feedback, without sacrificing Cordoba's authentic nylon-string acoustic tone. Sporting a solid spruce top and a carved mahogany back and sides as well as a highly modern mahogany fusion neck profile that delivers a fast 16" pau ferro fretboard radius, this guitar delivers a familiar playing experience that is more akin to a steel string guitar, making it an easy transition for players with small hands or less experience with nylon-stringed instruments. At the center of the Stage, however, is the special Stage Pickup System, co-designed by Cordoba and Fishman, which when paired with the solid, fully chambered body, produces a robust tonal foundation, and features easy-to-access controls for volume, EQ, and body blend. The result is a beautiful guitar, with a striking flamed maple veneer and amber gloss finish, that is comfortable to play and produces a rich, powerful tone, free of feedback, that will shine on any stage. The Stage guitar also includes a nylon gig bag made from recycled microplastics and fishing nets, helping to minimize environmental impact.Exquisite Construction The Stage features quality materials in its construction to deliver a solid body acoustic/electric guitar that sounds as good as it plays. The mahogany neck sports a pau ferro fretboard with 22 frets, extending for 25.6".The neck bracing is a ladder design with spruce. The body utilizes a solid, chambered design with a single cutaway for easy playing and a light weight, producing a rich tone without being cumbersome.Revolutionary Pickup System At the heart of the guitar is the revolutionary Stage Pickup System paired with a solid, fully chambered body for reduced weight and enhanced resonance, and a robust, tonal foundation. Equipped with easy-to-access Volume, EQ, and Body Blend knobs the Stage Pickup System allows players to dial in their preferred acoustic tone. Co-developed with Fishman to produce Cordoba's authentic, acoustic nylon-string tone, the Stage is revolutionary in sound and feel.Ergonomic Design with Stage-Friendly Shape and Fusion Neck Cordoba's unique Fusion Neck with a comfortable 48mm nut width and fast 16" Fretboard Radius is slightly thinner than a traditional nylon string guitar and provides a playing experience closer to that of a steel string guitar. This familiarity offers an easy transition for steel string players and players with smaller hands to the world of nylon string guitar.A Love for Planet Earth The accompanying gig bag allows for ease of transportation with padded handles and straps strategically placed along the sides and front of the bag. Supporting Cordoba's goal of minimizing global impact, the newly designed gig bag is built with a durable shell made from recycled nylon. This nylon fabric is a blend of post-consumer waste such as microplastics and discarded fishing nets.
