Tula Microphones

Are you in need of a recording solution for podcasters, voice-over artists, and VoIP conference-callers in one small package? Check out this B&H Kit which combines a black Tula Mic with a matching leather case to create a broadcast-quality USB microphone setup with protection from on-the-road wear and tear.Fits Your Needs This mic is perfect for recording directly to computers, be they mac or windows systems. With the right, separately available adapters, you can also record with Android and iOS devices. Don't want to use a computer or a mobile device? Not a problem: the built-in recorder can hold up to 12 hours of wav files. This feature, combined with the rechargeable battery, allows for versatile and mobile operation. All the Control You Need, Built Right In The Tula features controls for headphone volume, pattern selection, instant mute, and microphone gain putting you in charge of every level of the recording process. Also on hand are controls for the built-in recorder as well as a button for the built-in noise-reduction. Literally everything you need to control is intuitively built into the microphone itself, so you don't have to fiddle with any software operations.Selectable Polar Patterns Choose Cardioid if it's just you speaking in an untreated room: cardioid polar patterns are a great natural defense against picking up unwanted room tone. If you're recording more people, or want a more honest, true-to-life sound, choose the omnidirectional polar pattern, which picks up audio equally all around the capsule.3.5mm Headphone Jack with Latency-Free Monitoring The mic has an integrated headphone jack with an independent gain control for latency-free monitoring. Simply plug your headphones into the mic's 3.5mm input, and you'll hear your broadcast-quality audio in all its glory.Broadcast-Quality Digital Capture, Akai MPC Series Compatibility The mic records audio at 16-bit / 48 kHz, giving you the broadcast standard for media playback. On the audio side, the two-capsule design ensures that whatever mode you choose, the mic will pick up a clear and present sound. The Tula Mic can also be switched to 44.1 kHz for use with Akai MPC Series devices.Fantastic Sound from a Notable Brand The Tula Mic is brought to you by the team behind the world-renowned Soyuz Microphones. Like Soyuz mics, the Tula features an open top end that's never harsh, a pleasant midrange, and a low end that's full without being boomy. Featuring Burr Brown op amps and dedicated cardioid and omni capsules, the Tula provides professional-quality audio in a wide variety of situations.Simple to Set Up Just plug the Tula into your computer's USB port with the included USB cable, select it as a device in your recording software, and you're ready to get to work. Or, hit the Record button on the side of the mic, and start recording without an external device. The mic runs either off buss power or built-in battery power: the choice is yours.Integrated, Removable Stand The Tula ships with an integrated stand for easy placement, but you can remove it if need be and attach the mic to any threaded stand with the commensurate connections.
