The Sigma LH1-01 Lens Hood is specifically designed for the 19mm lens of the DP1 Merrill Digital Camera and helps to minimize lens flare by deflecting stray light from entering lens. The hood also provides additional protection to the camera and lens from accidental impact, bumps, and scratching.
