The Allen & Heath IP8 is a compact and portable remote controller for AHM matrix processors or dLive and Avantis mixing systems ideal for many install and live sound applications. It features 8 motorized faders, 8 LCD displays, 23 backlit softkeys and a dimmable preset control for all displays. The faders are fully assignable, configured individually, or part of a vertical strip. There are 6 layers of control accessed via softkeys, allowing control of 48 individual channels. Fast Ethernet connection is via a locking Neutrik EtherCon connector on the back panel. The IP8 can be connected directly to the dLive Mixrack/Surface, Avantis mixer, or AHM-64 Matrix Processor via standard Cat 5 data infrastructure. Alternatively, the controller can be networked with other controllers, computers, and third-party devices using an Ethernet switch. The IP8 controls and functions are programmed using the AHM System Manager or dLive Director software (Mac/Windows), or via an Avantis mixer or dLive Surface.
