The Leofoto AM-5 Versa Magic Arm is a 2-section arm with 1/4"-20 threaded connections. Using the dial, you can easily avoid having to rotate it by screwing it into the tripod. The arm is only 8.3" long and weighs just 10 oz,  so it's extremely portable.
