The Replacement Foot for Nikon 200mm f/2 VR I & II Lenses from Wimberley is a black anodized 6061 aluminum foot with an Arca-type compatible double-dovetail mount for accessories that can attach to the top as well as to the bottom of the foot. The lightweight and durable lens foot has a low profile that provides a lower center of gravity and a better balance than the original foot supplied with the lens. The low profile of the foot reduces flex and vibrations to the lens when the lens is in use. Also, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 sockets have been provided for tripod heads that do not have a compatible Arca-type clamp, and dual safety stops are included to prevent accidental sliding if a clamp is partially open.
