Asustor

Delivering both speed and capacity, the Lockerstor 4 Gen3 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor offers users the capabilities to take on almost any project. In addition to featuring four 2.5/3.5" SATA drive bays, this high-performance network storage enclosure has four M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots that may be configured for cache or storage. You can also mix and match M.2 configurations and set up RAID modes depending on your needs. The dual 10Gb Ethernet ports support SMB multichannel technology, which allows you to combine their throughput to reach read speeds of up to 1675 MB/s and write speeds of up to 791 MB/s, when configured in RAID 5.Powered by a 2.3 GHz AMD Ryzen V3C14 Quad-Core processor with 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 ECC memory, the Lockerstor 4 Gen3 also features a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for a 10Gb Ethernet card for even greater performance. The two memory slots support up to 64GB total. Other features include two 40 Gb/s USB4 ports and three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 slots.ASUSTOR Storage with Adobe Creative Cloud ASUSTOR is an official Adobe Partner for video and audio solutions.Ryzen Up to the Challenge AMD's Ryzen Embedded SoCs are so efficient, that they bring both energy savings and strong desktop-class performance. Four cores at up to 3.8 GHz helps you transfer, store, create and more at unbelievable efficiency.Server-Grade ECC Memory ECC memory is memory usually used in servers for detection and correction of the most common kinds of data corruption. This can help prevent data loss due to electromagnetic interference or crashes, making the NAS the Lockerstor 16R pro a stable NAS.Speeds Keep Ryzen and Ryzen The Lockerstor Gen3 series is ASUSTOR's fastest NAS. The combination of AMD's Ryzen Embedded SoC, M.2 SSDs using PCIe 4.0, USB4, and dual 10GbE to ensure everything you want to do with your NAS is nothing short of extremely fast. With four M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs and four bays for HDDs, the Lockerstor Gen3 series ensure that you get the best of both speed and capacity.SMB Multichannel (RAID 5) When configured as RAID 5 and using both 10GbE ports, read speeds can reach as high as 1675 MB/s and write speeds can reach as high as 791 MB/s.PCI Express 4.0 Brings Doubled Performance The Lockerstor Gen3 series is equipped with four M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs. These newly upgraded M.2 slots now support the PCI Express 4.0 bus which doubles the performance over PCI Express 3.0. ADM supports both caching and storage for faster random I/O performance done your way.USB4 is More Than Just Storage The Lockerstor Gen3 is equipped with two high-speed USB4 ports, offering fast speeds of up to 40 Gb/s. The USB4 ports are compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 devices, allowing you to transfer, store, archive, and back up faster than ever. When connecting two ASUSTOR NAS units using the USB4 ports, fast data transfers, synchronizations, and backups can be achieved without using the network ports. Paired with features like DataSync Center and SMB Backup, this can help significantly reduce back up time. The Lockerstor Gen3 and Flashstor Gen2 series are based on AMD's current USB4 driver. AMD USB4 at the moment only supports external storage devices and direct connection between another Lockerstor Gen3 or Flashstor Gen2 series NAS.The Hottest NAS Is Also the Coolest With all these features packed into a small footprint, the Lockerstor Gen3 series and the installed AMD Ryzen Embedded SoCs require the an efficient cooling solution. The heat dissipation solution in the Lockerstor Gen3 uses heat pipes and fins to dissipate waste heat from the CPU, enabling the Lockerstor Gen3 to chew through virtually any storage task you throw at it.MyArchive Cold Backup Technology Unlimited Capacity Expansion MyArchive cold backup technology turns NAS hard disks into removable storage archives. Directly insert a MyArchive hard disk into the NAS to easily access, backup and share terabytes of content.Protected From the Inside and Out Protect your data from loss, dam
