Description
Ideal for video conferencing applications for AV integration or communication with Omega Series transmitters and receivers, this Omega 4x2 4K Multi-Format Matrix Switcher with USB and HDBaseT from Atlona facilitates local and remote interfacing for all of your devices. The switcher features HDMI, HDBaseT, and USB-C input ports and HDMI and HDBaseT output ports, which support up to DCI 4K60 video. When connected to an HD sink, the switcher can downscale 4K to 1080p60 with ease. Embedded audio, Ethernet, and additional USB accessory connectivity can be extended up to 330', along with the video signal. Switch to up to four host PCs using the USB-B host ports, USB-C port, or the remote HDBaseT signal. Additional USB-A hub ports can connect peripheral devices such as cameras, microphones, keyboards, and mice.USB Extension for Video Conferencing Integrated USB extension over HDBaseT sends the signal up to 330'. This connectivity, plus the switcher's ability to interface with host PCs and USB peripheral devices, make it an ideal device for video conferencing and unified communication platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and GoToMeeting.Versatile Switcher, Scaler, and Extender The switcher combines auto-switching for AV and USB with integrated display control and USB extension, among other features. The USB-C input can help connect newer laptops and mobile devices to the switcher while adding USB data connectivity to the local USB hub. When the switcher is connected to the included power supply, you can even charge your laptop or phone through said USB-C port. The switcher can also de-embed audio and facilitate remote management using the Velocity Device Manager.Automatic Display Control Using TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC protocols, the switcher can control a display without requiring a separate system. The switcher can trigger a display to power on automatically when a laptop or mobile device is connected. Once the presenter disconnects their personal device, the switcher can then power the display off.AV and USB Host Switching When the HDMI and HDBaseT outputs are set to mirror, the switcher can automatically select an input source that it detects a 5V Hot Plug Detect (HPD) signal and active video from. This reliable auto-switching works with DVRs, DisplayPort/Mini DisplayPort adapters, and other devices with said HPD signal. On top of this, four USB hosts can be connected to the switcher using the USB-C, USB-B, and remote USB connection over HDBaseT via Omega transmitter unit. Hosts can be switched in manual or automatic modes and can be set as independent or follow AV input switching.
